I am Amos Jilili Makiya, a Tanzanian 62 yrs old.

I and my family, we used to stay at Seuri area, Olturumet Ward, Ngaramtoni, Arusha DC.

On 29 Sept. 2025, something very unfortunate happened in my life. Around 10.45am we noticed heavy smoke in my house, I made efforts to remove my wife from the house to save her life as well as mine as our house was totally burned off by fire. It was destroyed to the extent beyond repair. Everything inside was totally burned. It should be understood that my wife was in bed unable to help herself because she has been sick and went through two head surgery and one hip surgery while her leg was at the same time with one leg damaged. UP to this moment she is still in bed and cannot support herself.So. We managed to take her out safely. We thank God that, nobody was injured during that terrible fire accident.We lost all our properties hence we have no where to live. We thank our neighbour, friend and all good Samaritans for helping and supporting our family during and after this accident. Still we need support, we appreciate whoever wishes to help us.
