Amos & Stella Fashakin

Amos and Stella are Nigerian immigrants struggling to make ends meet on the North side of Indianapolis. Amos works as a custodian at the elementary school where I teach First Grade. Stella cannot work until her Visa can be processed to allow her to legally accept a job. They already make due with very little, but they never complain and Amos works as hard as anyone that I know. 

Unfortunately, while returning home several nights ago, Amos was robbed at gunpoint in front of his apartment. His wallet, cell phone & car keys were taken and his car was stolen. His car was later recovered, but it had been crashed and now needs to be repaired.
