Amorin's Cancer Treatment Expenses

After my mother had a hysterectomy last October, we never thought about what we were about to face in the upcoming months. At the beginning of April of 2022, we had the unexpected news that Amorin was diagnosed with aggressive cervical cancer. She has been battling not only cancer but also side effects from it including Ascites every week, which is the abnormal buildup of liquid in her abdomen. Before she finally had her first session of chemotherapy last week, she had already lost over 30 lbs. Her treatment will last 6 months.

 

Ever since the diagnosis and the symptoms began, she has been giving it her all, mentally and physically to get through this situation. I and my father have been taking care of her and supporting her as much as we can. Three long, painful visits to the emergency room and dealing with this aggressive cancer took its toll on the three of us, mentally, physically, and economically.

 

We are starting to see the medical bills and our expenses starting to grow, and we are having difficulty trying to catch up economically. Any support for my mother would be greatly appreciated! This money will help us alleviate the medical debt and many other expenses piling up.

 

For those who know Amorin personally, we just wish for her to go back to the happy, energetic, and hardworking woman she has always been!
