In Memory of Ammar Tariq

Dear Friends & Family,
Ammar Tariq's life was taken away in a 4-car accident. We mourn the death of a young life and ask that you keep Ammar Tariq in your thoughts and prayers. We want to share what type of person Ammar developed to become.
Ammar did not live the easiest life. His father was murdered when he was a baby and was raised by a single mother alongside with two other brothers and one sister. Ammar was very religious and was a hafiz (one that memorizes the Quran). He was known for his kindness and humble persona. He never cared for money and was always readily available to help at any time. His fraternity brothers and close friends recall him as a "nerd" for loving math and science while knowing all the new and upcoming technology. He also enjoyed talking politics with others. Him and his big brother would talk about the immense impact that Delta Epsilon Psi has made on him. It taught him to be strong and carried that quality over in his every day living. All of these characteristics and passions explained his true purpose in life: wanting to change and impact the world. He was due to graduate this upcoming Fall with a Computer Science Degree and move to Austin with his family soon after.
In this time of despair and grief, I request you keep Ammar in your hearts and pray for his family.
For those of you close to him, we request all of you to share this information with your friends and family. Please contribute financially and spiritually as we mourn the falling of a beloved brother.
