Amman Valley Ponyclub Horse Of the Year Show 2023

6 members from Amman Valley Pony Club; Olivia Bevan, Tegan Francis, Aiza Mirzen, Ava Rice, Sophie Locking and Jayden Knight have achieved every pony club members dream of qualifying for the Prince Philip Cup final at the Horse of the Year show!! Our Go fund me page has been set up to help raise funds to support these young children to get all the kit and equipment they will need to compete against 5 other top teams in Britain out of 330 clubs that started this journey early in 2023.

Amman Valley Pony Club last achieved this acclaim in 1996 and the club has been working hard to return to the best horse show in the world and to bring the trophy back home to Wales.

First held at Horse of the Year Show in 1957, the Prince Philip Cup is a world-famous Mounted Games competition featuring fast-paced action.

Teams go through a series of Area Competitions and Zone Finals to qualify, making it one of the most hotly-contested events in The Pony Club calendar. Competing in front of thousands of spectators at Horse Of the Year Show (HOYS) is an experience not to be forgotten!
