Thank you for reading.
On April 28th, 2018, my mother, Suzanne suffered multiple Strokes. She has been in the hospital ever since. She began therapy from the strokes, however, since had to have a rod placed in her right hip due to a fracture. although she had complications, we remained hopeful. On Wednesday, June 6th, I received a call from the Oncologist who preformed a second Bone Marrow Biopsy that my Mom has AML Leukemia.
She has other major health Concerns surrounding her Diagnosis. She will be transferred to Penn State Hospital today to begin a Chemotherapy. The day of the strokes she ran her car into her house with upwards of 15K in repairs to her home. She is behind on bills because of this and cannot work. Her car has been damaged and we are now facing major medical bills that insurance will not cover entirely from her surgery and hospital stays. The cost of her treatment for her Cancer is yet unknown, but she will be receiving this as an inpatient at the hospital for at least a month, possibly more. I am living in Tennessee, and when she becomes medically stable my plan is to bring her here with me. She has no family in PA. I am asking a lot, asking you to please help so I am able to help her with her bills and most importantly her treatment and bringing her home. We are unsure of the prognosis at this time. I appreciate any assistance/help or prayers given. There’s nothing more heartbreaking than being given news of this kind. My mother, before April 28th, was a vibrant, upbeat, woman, who worked Fulltime and did everything on her own.
She is a proud woman, and wouldn’t ask for this, but I am. I appreciate any help or prayers anyone is able to give on her behalf. We are eternally grateful.
Thank you and God Bless.
