This separation is a pain no mother should ever have to endure. Our home has been completely destroyed. Our jobs and all sources of income are gone. My family moves constantly from one temporary place to another, searching for safety, food, and clean water — the most basic human needs that have now become luxuries. Right now, what we need most is safety — a secure place to protect my family, especially with the cold season coming. After that, we urgently need essentials: food, medicine, and clean drinking water. In Gaza, even unsafe water has become something people are desperate for.
