Hello my name is christina, I'am starting this go fund me for my daughter Amiyah who is now 10 years old and, fighting cancer also for a used car to get us to and from treatments, grocery  shopping, doctors appointments. March 17, a week after leaving the eye specialist with some unanswered questions for her headaches and sudden blurred vision . we went in for a MRI with dinner in the crock pot at home thinking she'd need glasses at the most.we will be back home in a hour but, we came home 6 days later. in the middle of the MRI the nurse came and, said we were being admitted and, needed to go upstairs. she had no other information for us. full tunnel vision I waited 2 hours for the doctor to come tell me your daughter needs brain surgery and, has a brian tumor.As a mother you want to fix what is hurting your child and, you can't fix this. as a parent you blame yourself how did I miss this?,what could I have done ?, why my child ? Advent health had us in surgery the next day. we walked to the surgery room listening to " dance monkey " she made everyone who walked past us laugh or dance but, I was crying behind her trying to hold it together. surgery went well after 6 hours that seemed like forever. saying bye to your baby before surgery really put it all together for me. I have to give these doctors my baby.i have to trust them with her life my one and only amiyah ! i remember my knees going weak and being in a complete fog. she came out SMILING !!! thats when we found out it was cancer. that's when nothing else mattered just getting her healthy. hearing those words you instantly think the worse. I will never forget it. she was walking the next day, eating small meals , naming family members. she knew who I was right after surgey. now recovering and,on chemo for the remaining tumor and that is a fight all on its own. the first 4 weeks were cake and, then we were faced with reality. this is kicking her butt. her first oral chemo had no effect on the tumor. in fact made it grow ever so slightly. she had surgery 9/4/2020 for her port. to receive intravenous chemotherapy. illness doesnt care if it's your child or that theres Bill's at home. my income is gone. we have already lost my car due to nonpayment in july. it's hard not focus on that right now when she needs me the most ! but with chemotherapy in orlando along with the eye specialist ekgs and echos doing this and depending on other people is very hard. the money will go to a vehicle so we can make sure she gets to every appointment she needs. even something so simple as the grocery store doing that an in uber is not fun. medical supplies we never thought we would need that insurance does not cover. activities for her. essential oils play a big role in this house. whatever she wishes to eat. expeneses here at home to allow me to stay home with her.some of the donations will help with transportation in the mean time. christmas presentz. thank you to anyone who took the time to read our story of our brave princess ! ❤ I'm just a momma fighting for my warrior
