There are times in life that are too tragic for words and too hard to bear. On Thursday, November 19, 2020, that became our reality. Amiya Briscoe, age 14, passed unexpectedly in her home.We are lost and devastated, exhausted in grief. Our spirits are broken, our sorrow is immense, but our faith is intact. Amiya was a beautiful soul, and without her, the light is gone. She loved to dance and joke, and her smile was contagious. She loved her family hard, especially her two sisters. She was fierce, brave, and strong.
I have set up this fundraiser to help the Briscoe family with funeral costs. Any funds left over will be split equally into college funds for her sisters and a donation to STOMP Out Bullying, a nonprofit organization dedicated to reducing bullying; educating against racism, homophobia and hatred; and helping kids deal with suicidal thoughts.
Thank you for your support!
