The Amityville Chelsea 2007 boys team have won the Mid - Atlantic Regional Championship and have qualified for Nationals in Colorado! The boys are from the Amityville Soccer Club and are proud to represent Long Island at Nationals.
The group is talented and work very hard. From shoveling snow off fields to train all throughout the winter to celebrating in 90 degree heat after giving their all in the final this past weekend. We have seen them over the course of the season grow tremendously through all the ups and downs. The ability to learn from mistakes and work through adversity truly show their character. At the Regional Tournament, they put it all together and went 3 - 0 in the group stage and won the final 2 - 0.

"We are beyond proud of the boys and all of their efforts. This has been quite the process and we cannot thank all involved in helping our boys get to this point. We are so impressed with their ability to mentally stay focused, understand the correct balance between working hard and having fun, and most importantly coming together and becoming a true family. These lessons, amongst others, is what drives us as coaches in the club to ensure they can take these values into all facets of their lives. While these memories of winning are tremendous, these boys have matured so much through all of these experiences and are better people because of this. We now have one more experience to go, as we compete in Colorado for Nationals."
With that being said, we are looking for any donation to help our boys and families go to Nationals. We truly appreciate anything.
