Join our campaign to help the Amity House and women like Faith—this shelter is dedicated to helping victims of domestic violence and their children. For women like Faith, the Amity House helps create a safety plan to leave their abuser. They keep women and children safe.
After a 9 year abusive relationship, Faith contacted the shelter and got help. As a result of the services she received, she became employed, which enabled her to support herself and her daughter. She was able to secure safe and stable housing while feeling assured that her abuser would not go looking for her and her daughter or have the ability to locate them.
This will help provide resources to those who have been hurt by family violence and empower them to lead independent and violence-free lives.
