Hello, my name is Amir. I’m 19 years old, half Sudanese and half Thai, and currently studying at a university in Thailand. Education here is very expensive—especially international programs, which are the only option available to me because of language barriers.

At the moment, I am the only one enrolled in school. My younger brothers, Mazin and Sammy, are still waiting for their chance to begin.

My Story

After my parents separated, my father supported us while working abroad. But when he lost his job, I had to leave school. For four years, my brothers and I studied at home on our own.

With no teachers to guide me, I worked through textbooks by myself and achieved the grades I needed to be accepted into university.

Relatives in Sudan helped me get started, but now, with the war there, they can no longer support me. Without outside help, I may not be able to continue the university journey I’ve fought so hard to begin.

Why I Need Your Support

My current goal is to raise $5,000 to cover one semester of my university education. Here’s how the funds will be used:

Tuition fees – $4,200

Books & materials – $300

Administrative/university fees – $250

Study expenses (internet, commute, etc.) – $250

This will allow me to continue my studies without interruption. Any donations beyond this amount will go directly toward future semesters and, in time, toward helping Mazin and Sammy enroll.

My dream is to complete my degree, begin working, and ensure that my brothers also have the opportunity to pursue their education.

اسمي أمير، عمري 19 سنة. أنا نصف سوداني ونصف تايلاندي وأعيش الآن في تايلاند حيث أدرس بالجامعة. الدراسة هنا مكلفة جدًا، وخاصة البرامج الدولية التي هي الخيار الوحيد لي بسبب حاجز اللغة.

قصتي

بعد انفصال والديّ كان أبي يعيلنا من عمله في الخارج، لكن عندما فقد وظيفته اضطررت لترك المدرسة. قضيت أنا وإخوتي أربع سنوات ندرس وحدنا في البيت من غير أي معلمين.

رغم ذلك تمسكت بحلمي. درست بنفسي من الكتب والدروس حتى تمكنت بفضل الله وبالإصرار من تحقيق درجات أهلتني لدخول الجامعة.

دخلت الجامعة بدعم من أقاربنا في السودان، لكن مع اندلاع الحرب لم يعد بإمكانهم المساعدة. اليوم أصبحت مهددًا بفقدان مقعدي الجامعي إن لم أجد من يقف بجانبي.

لماذا أطلب دعمكم

أحتاج الآن إلى 5,000 دولار لتغطية فصل دراسي واحد. المبلغ سيُصرف على:

الرسوم الدراسية: 4,200 دولار

الكتب والمواد: 300 دولار

الرسوم الإدارية: 250 دولار

مصاريف أساسية (إنترنت، تنقل، طباعة…): 250 دولار
