Brothers Samim, 8 and Tamim, 11 along with their parents Laily and Naieem fled from Kabul, Afghanistan in 2021. Naieem worked at a US government facility and the family was no longer safe once the Taliban took control.

The family lived in a refugee camp and an army base since their escape 10 months ago. They fled their home with only the clothes on their back. Our Calabasas neighborhood sponsorship circle has worked to relocate them to Los Angeles. We are working hard to get them on their feet, but we can’t do this alone. We are reaching out to our wonderful community for support!

This money will go directly towards a down payment on a car, rent, utilities, medical bills and essentials the Amiri family will need.
