Amira from Gaza: Humanitarian Call from the Heart of Suffer

My name is Amira Saeed, a woman over fifty years old, living in the Gaza Strip, where war never ends and destruction surrounds everything. I used to live in a humble home that sheltered me for years, but it was completely destroyed in one of the airstrikes—leaving me with nothing but memories.

Destruction was not my only hardship. I have suffered from life’s injustices and endured harsh domestic violence that left me alone with no support. As I’ve aged, I’ve been diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis, a painful disease that makes every movement a challenge. I am no longer able to work, and I have no income or means to afford medication or even my daily food.

Today, I live in a tent with no real shelter, facing cold, hunger, illness, and the constant fear of bombings. Every day is a struggle to survive. And yet, I still believe in the kindness that exists in people's hearts.

I appeal to you from the depths of my heart to extend a helping hand. Your donation, no matter how small, could give me a chance to live with dignity—to afford my medicine, food, and maybe rebuild a small shelter where I can reclaim my humanity.

اسمي أميرة سعيد، امرأة تجاوزت الخمسين من العمر، أعيش في قطاع غزة، حيث الحرب لا تتوقف، والدمار يحيط بكل شيء. كنت أعيش في منزل بسيط احتضنني سنوات، لكنه دُمر بالكامل في إحدى الغارات، ولم يتبقَ لي منه سوى الذكريات.

لم يكن الدمار وحده ما قاسيتُه. فقد عانيتُ من ظلم الحياة، ومن عنف أسري قاسٍ تركني وحيدة بلا سند. ومع تقدمي في العمر، أصبتُ بمرض الروماتويد، الذي جعل كل حركة مؤلمة وكل يوم تحديًا جديدًا. لم أعد قادرة على العمل، ولا أملك أي دخل أو وسيلة لأؤمّن الدواء أو حتى قوت يومي.

اليوم، أعيش في خيمة بلا مأوى حقيقي، أواجه البرد، الجوع، المرض، والخوف من القصف. كل يوم يمر هو معركة من أجل البقاء. ومع كل هذا، ما زلت أؤمن بالخير الموجود في قلوب الناس.

أناشدكم من قلبي، أن تمدوا لي يد العون. تبرعكم، مهما كان بسيطًا، قد يمنحني فرصة للعيش بكرامة، لتأمين دوائي، وطعامي، وربما لبناء مأوى صغير أستعيد فيه إنسانيتي.
