In Loving Memory of Amir Soleimani-Gilakjani
It is with deep sadness that we share the passing of our dear colleague and friend, Amir Soleimani-Gilakjani, who left us on Wednesday, 3rd December 2025, after a courageous year-long battle with cancer.
Amir was a cherished member of the Heathrow community for more than 20 years. His warmth, quick humour, unmistakable banter, and unwavering dedication to his work as Operations Manager of Terminal 2 touched countless lives. He was admired not only for his professionalism, but for the kindness and generosity he showed to everyone around him.
Amir leaves behind his loving wife and their beautiful two-year-old daughter. His passing is an immeasurable loss, and our hearts are with his family as they navigate this painful time.
The Mitie–Heathrow family has come together to raise funds in support of Amir’s wife and daughter. Any contribution, no matter how small would be received with immense gratitude. Most importantly, we ask that you keep Amir’s family in your thoughts as they grieve the loss of a devoted husband, father, and friend.
Amir, thank you for the light, laughter, and dedication you brought into our lives. You will be remembered always.
Rest in peace, Amir.
