Amine Azra is 13 months old and she suffers from SMA Type 1 which is a rare genetic disorder .

SMA is a genetic disorder that starts in the central nervous system (CNS) and affects all the muscles in the body. Due to the degenerative nature of the disease, people with SMA will experience a decline in muscle strength over time, although the rate and severity can vary among individuals. Type-1 (out of 4 types) is the most rapidly growing type of SMA and if not cured it is deadly ‌

Amine Azra is unable to use her body as she doesn’t have any muscle tone, her mom has to hold her head up constantly because if her head drops and she cannot lift it up it will cause her to stop breathing and she can die. She has difficulty ‌breathing and swallowing.
