Amina’s story with cancer
Donation protected
Here is the story of Amina Sheikh Mohammed, a devoted wife and a loving mother to three beautiful children who has been bravely battling cancer for the last 9 years.
Amina’s story begins 9 years ago when she was diagnosed with cancer in her womb. After having completed her surgery and treatments, Amina was able to continue her life cancer free for 2 years.
Unfortunately, Amina’s cancer returned 2 years later and metastasized in her thyroid. So, she underwent a second round of treatments and surgery.
It was later found that the cancer had also spread to her breasts and would need a double mastectomy. Amina complied and remained in high spirits.
Today, two years later, the cancer in her neck has returned once again but this time, it is much more aggressive. She suffers from acid refluxes that cause excruciating pain and burning sensations. Amina’s kidneys are not functioning well and are retaining water. This is causing her to retain water thus, her movement is currently very limited.
Amina needs two immediate surgeries to get her kidneys functioning properly again so that she can continue to fight cancer.
Please donate to this cause. Our dear friend Amina is so strong and we know she will conquer cancer if she is given the opportunity.
The current financial situation in Lebanon is terrible. Amina needs anything we are able to offer her. These two surgeries are crucial to her survival. Any and all help is appreciated.
Your donation is going to a great cause. It is allowing a family to stick together, a woman to continue being a mother to her beautiful children, and so that children may continue having the their mother’s warmth and presence. There is no greater gift than watching your children thrive and being able to be there for them every step of the way. With our help, this is possible!
What we would like you to know about Amina is that she has always been and will always be a fighter— courageous and resilient. We have great faith that she will beat cancer’s ass again and this time for GOOD.
We will post updates and keep everyone informed of her progress.
Thank you all from the bottom of our hearts.
