This gofundme is started by Alex Sobeck's friends. 

It saddens us deeply to have to be creating another go fund me for Alex Sobeck so soon after the loss of his sister and especially right before Christmas. 

On December 20, Alex's mom, Amina Sobeck lost her year long battle with stage 4 lung cancer. This woman had been through so much, having to endure the pain of losing 2 children, a husband and battle cancer all within a very short time period.

We created this gofundme to first help with the funeral cost for Amina and secondly help Alex through this most difficult time in his life. Alex has a long road ahead of him to deal with not only the grief of losing his mom but also his sister 3 months prior and we would like to help him with the financial burden of having to pay for 2 funerals in one year. 

Anyone that has met Alex knows that he is one of the nicest people you could meet. He is dealing with unimaginable loss at the age of 26, more than many of us will ever have to deal with. 

We know that it is the holidays and many of us have spent a lot of money already but we ask you to please donate whatever you can to help our friend. Tis the season of giving.
