Amias, my 2 year old baby boy, has been on a rollercoaster of a journey the last four months. Our summer consisted of multiple hospital stays and quarantining. On October 6th he was diagnosed with leukemia and began chemotherapy following his diagnosis. Being a full time mom of two, self employed hair stylist and full time student - l never imagined this being a battle we would have to face. Chemotherapy along with in patient stays and follow up appointments weekly will take a lot of our time over the next 2 years. I find myself not knowing the “right” words to say because I try to be the best mom I can on my own. Those that know me understand how hard It is for me to ask for help but I have came to understand the importance of support wherever it comes especially during this time. The money raised goes directly to monthly bills, treatments, home assistance care, and basic living necessities. I appreciate everyone along with the continuous help for my family. -ASJ.
