Caleb Cramer was admitted to Baptist Hospital early afternoon on December 30, 2015 because of a genetic blood condition he has called Factor V Leiden. This causes abnormal and unpredictable clotting of his blood cells. What we know at this point is that he had blood clots in his intestines causing fierce abdominal pain. He was also experiencing shortness of breath from the lack of blood flow to his heart. As of today (January 6, 2016) he is still in the hospital, please continue to pray with us that as the doctors run tests that the results will be clear and accurate.
Carmen Taylor & I have started this campaign not just because we wanted to help relieve some of the financial strain for Caleb & his family, but because of who Caleb is. He is an encourager and a companion to all. We have all been affected by his friendly smile and his contagious laugh. But more than that is his integrity, his character and his consistency. He is there, always. Day in and day out, for each of us with open arms and an attentive ear.
Caleb's current medical state has prompted for a hospital stay carrying over into the new year. This means Caleb will pay his full $3,000 deductible/out of pocket expenses for the 2015 year as well as the $3,000 deductible/out of pocket expenses for the 2016 year and that's not including any extra costs that may be accrued during this time.
Let's rally around this incredible family so Caleb can recover without the worry of providing for his family and for Laura to be able to take time away from work to care for him.
From the depths of my heart, thank you.
