It was narrated from Zaid bin Khalid Al-Juhani that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said:
“Whoever gives food for a fasting person to break his fast, he will have a reward like theirs, without that detracting from their reward in the slightest.” (Sunan Ibn Majah)
During the month of Ramadan, Muslims worldwide engage in spiritual reflection and fasting. However, for the people of Yemen, who already face challenges accessing basic necessities, fasting can be exceptionally difficult. To support them in breaking their fasts adequately, we at the Aishah Mavis Foundation aim to ensure that the Yemeni people receive freshly prepared hot meals for iftar throughout Ramadan.
The ongoing conflict and economic hardships have plunged many Yemenis into a struggle for survival, leading to widespread malnutrition. Access to food remains a critical issue, with an estimated 20 million Yemenis currently facing starvation.
For just £2, you can provide an iftar meal for one fasting individual in Yemen. Your contribution can ensure that those fasting have access to nutritious and fulfilling meals to break their fasts, significantly aiding them in continuing their fasts throughout the month.

Why Yemen?
Yemen holds a special significance in the heart of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) and has played a crucial role in Islamic history. It has been home to esteemed scholars and remarkable individuals. Two entire surahs in the Qur’an, Surah Al Ahqaf and Al Saba, are dedicated to this land. Even the garments worn by our Prophet (peace be upon him) were of Yemeni origin.
