Amesbury Town FC LED Floodlight Fund

Hi, here at Amesbury Town FC, we pride ourselves on cost effective football at the highest standard of football possible.

We currently have 2 sides at the club a men's team playing in Wessex league division 1 (step 6 of the national league system) and an under 18s team playing in the Wiltshire senior league floodlight division. Both sides use our current floodlights for all of their home games these lights have been in use for many years and with current energy costs and the issue's and costs sourcing bulbs and replacement parts these lights are starting to become unsustainable for the club and the price is having to be covered by players and coaches.

We are looking to grow the club and to be able to offer more football to all ages in the area, but until we can get our running costs down it is just not feasible.

Our under 18s team are playing in the top division of youth football in Wiltshire and we are attracting some great young talent from the local area and giving them the opportunity to showcase their ability . If we don't replace our lights in the immediate future we will have to put more of a financial burden on these players which will ultimately mean many of them having to drop out of the game.

Aside from the financial impact our current lights, are bad for our environment, they let out a large amount of C02 every time they are used, where as the new LED ones on average let out a quarter of the amount.

Anything you can spare would be fantastic to help our club grow and become more sustainable for its players and for the environment.
