Annabelle's medical expenses
Donation protected
Hi There!
This is my puppy Annabelle. She just turned 2 years old. On December 19th, our 2 year old son accidently opened the door and let her out. In the time it took my husband to get outside to get her, she was hit by a car when she was crossing the street. She has sustained numerous injuries including contusions to her lungs and has needed to stay in the Emergency Vetrinarian ICU.
Fortunately she has no broken bones or brain injury. However, she does have a significant neurological problem that has left her right side very weak. She is unable to move or stand on her own. She is going to require further testing and rehabilitation that is very expensive.
If you are a pet owner, you know that our fur babies are loved just as much as our human babies. Our hearts are breaking for our baby girl. She is a sweet puppy who needs a lot of care.
As it stands now, we are unsure of what the cost for Miss Annabelle will be. By the morning of December 20th we were at $2,000. My husband and I are asking for your help.
All the funds raised will go directly to Annabelle's medical expenses. If we raise more money than we need, we will donate the remainder to the Pipples and More Animal Rescue http://www.pmarinc.org/. This is the rescue that brought us together with our wonderful pup.
Thank you for sharing our story and for any contributions we receive.
Sincerely,
Derek and Shelley Foster
