American Patriot held in South Korean Prison
Donation protected
Greetings … my name is A. C. and I’ve created this fundraiser for my brother, friend, and most importantly, an American patriot and Military retired soldier whose name is Henry Mednard.
Henry was arrested by federal agents and transported to South Korea and held in prison for an alleged assault that was allegedly committed while in service to the US Army.
During an off duty night of celebration, Henry and other members of the US Army were out at a popular American venue of food and drink when he was assaulted and attacked by a would be anti-American military civilian of South Korean origin when he and his entourage were attacked. In defense of himself and others, Henry, as the defender of his life and the lives of the fellow patriot soldiers, was wrongfully portrayed as the offender and aggressor. As a result of the actions taken by the local South Korean authorities and the complaint of the antagonist involved, Henry was wrongfully charged for assault.
In the aftermath of the incident, US Army officials investigated the incident and found no evidence of wrong doing on Henry’s part and upon Henry’s service completion, he was freely discharged and returned home to the United Stares.
15 years later, after Henry was settled in his civilian life with family and friends, US Federal officers showed up at his home and arrested him and exported him to South Korea, where he has been imprisoned for the past year and a half.
Since Henry’s incarceration in South Korea and subsequent trial for assault, his case was found lacking in evidence and no fault of his was proven or concluded and therefore the case was dropped and Henry was acquitted, however, for the last several months, Henry has been held by the South Korean authorities and his release back home has been stymied due to Henry’s financial inability to pay the fines associated with aspects related to court costs, lawyer fee’s, and associated settlement costs.
For the reasons aforementioned, I am asking for your help and the help of any and all Americans and patriots who would help in this hour of need for a great member of our country. A servicemen who needs help in returning home to our great US soil.
Thank you for your support, time, and understanding in this matter.
