Support “PRESERVE OUR DEMOCRACY” Fund
Why should you donate? Too many adult American voters are ignorant of basic constitutional values. There is an emergency need for a national TV and social media campaign to immediately educate and refresh the American people on what principles really count in our democracy.
What will be done with your donation? All contributions Vaud Massarsky receives will be given to the American Civics League to create and distribute video Public Service Announcements (PSAs) for TV, social media, radio, and print. The PSAs will be produced by the American Civics League (ACL), a brand new District of Columbia nonprofit, corporation. ACL is strictly non-partisan. Its charter and by-laws require political neutrality. The PSAs will principally remind voters of three key constitutional principles:
A. Voting. Only people can give power to the government to do anything. Only through voting. And that’s real power, to the people.
B. Rule of Law. The supreme ruler in America is the Constitution itself; not a person, not a party, and not a branch of government.
C. Checks and Balances. None of the three branches of government is supreme; each is checked one way or the other by another branch.
What will the PSA look like? Benjamin Franklin, portrayed by a live actor, will be our pitchman. Please look at the videos attached that will be used to reach the American public.
Protection of your contribution: Vaud Massarsky, the organizer of this fundraiser, will deposit all contributions with the American Civics League.
