Friends, family of American Cheez,

Four (million football, baseball, etc.) scores and seven years ago, our friends brought forth on this neighborhood, a new bar, conceived in liberty (from taste), and dedicated to the proposition that all men (persons!...geez) are created equal (21 and over, no mixologists).

Ok enough of that... Because today, December 20, 2020, is American Cheez's last day for the foreseeable future. Covid and it's restrictions have made the situation dire for the bar. They've stayed open as long as possible but as expenses turn to debts and sales dwindle they've decided to close and see if they can keep the venue long enough to reopen when Covid and/or Cuomo allow it.

To be clear, our donations will not guarantee that our beloved Cheez will be able to reopen. But it will help. Or at least it will help with the mounting debts to pay, and unavoidable expenses to afford until they can even attempt to open again.

So whatever you can donate to the cause will help. And please spread the word!
