Hello people out there,

1 and a half years ago I met my girlfriend, Angie. I live in the UK and she lives in Florida. She has hypoplastic right heart syndrome, tricuspid atresia, severe asthma and a handful of other health issues.

In recent months she was forced to leave where she was living as the rent was increasing every other month and the assistance she got wasn't enough to cover it.

The only person that would take her in was a friend in Tennessee, none of her family seemed to be all that bothered that she didn't have the money for rent or food, sometimes living off a packet of crisps a week.

When she moved in with her friend, she had no choice but to leave behind all of her belongings, which included photos from her childhood and make a wish days out, as her mother refused to take any of it. And on top of that she had to rehome her dog and cat, with her dog later dying.

While trying to restart her life in Tennessee she was refused assistance and denied the Medicaid she previously had in Florida, which is quite crucial to her being able to continue to live.

Living with her friend didn't last long as she lived with her abusive boyfriend and after a few weeks he threatened Angie too.

After that, she was forced to pack up and leave again. We were planning her next trip here anyway so she came over a little earlier than expected.

She's due to return to America but she has nowhere to go as her mum won't return her calls and none of her extended family are willing to help her

I'm trying to raise funds so we can at least get her an AirBnB or something, just somewhere to stay so she's not literally living on the streets.
