Amelie's fight against Leukemia
Donation protected
Darren Bowling's daughter, Amelie, has started her fight against Leukaemia, and will be undergoing surgery and chemotherapy at the tender age of 6.
Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia is rare, with only 650 people diagnosed with the condition in the UK each year. It is aggressive, and causes white blood cells to be released in to the blood stream before they are fully developed, making them less effective at fighting off infection, but also decreasing levels of red blood cells and platelets in the blood.
Amelie's road to recovery will be tough, and she is clearly going to need a lot of support from her family, if you are able to, please show your support with a donation - every penny helps!
