Our beautiful, vibrant and amazing niece Amelie Wykes lost both her parents in the span of one year. Her mother, Lindsey Maxwell Worthington, died on March 11, 2017. Her father, Brian Wykes, died on March 12, 2018. She has had so much sadness in her short life. We want to help her anyway we can.
My sister Annabel Worthington and I started this gofundme to raise money for Amelie's college education. While she is only 11 now, her college years will approach more quickly than we can ever imagine. It is our hope that people will find it in their hearts to help her start saving for college. Once the goal of $10,000 is reached, the money will be placed into a 529 account that will hopefully serve her well when she goes off to college!
This is Amelie 3 years ago visiting me at my Master's graduation at the City College of New York. She had a blast and wanted to go to the school that "looks like Hogwarts"!
