Amelia's Army
Donation protected
Hello Everyone-
I am writing on behalf of a co-worker of ours. Chantelle Raymer Nobis and family are in need of our help. Her oldest of three Amelia age 4 went to the ER on Saturday as they thought she was suffering from a concussion.
A CT scan was performed finding a brain tumor the size of a golf ball. They were rushed to Upstate Golisano Children's Hospital in Syracuse. She has been recieving steriods to reduce the swelling in her brain around the tumor. Tomorrow (8/24) she will undergo a four hour MRI under general anethesia to determine the extent of the tumor and the next steps that will be taken. Most likely surgery within the next few days.
For those who do not know Pete and Chantelle Nobis, they are the loving parents of three young children, Amelia 4, Hayden 2 and Blake 6 weeks. Pete is a self employed farmer and Chantelle is a music teacher for Whitesboro Central School District at the Middle School Campus. With the future uncertain Chantelle will more than likely need to remain out of work to care for Amelia. This presents a financial worry. We as her co-workers are hoping to make this the least of their worries. Any size donation will help offset the cost of travel and medical expenses. Let's surpass our modest goal and show Amelia and her family how much we love and support them.
Updates will follow as available. Thank you in advance for your support.
