My name is Amelia Kerr, and I am a sophomore Pre-Med student at Penn State University. This gofundme has been created to fund my spring break trip to Honduras with Penn State Global Brigades. While the group fundraises seperately to provide medications and other supplies that will be used during our trip, the money in this account will be used for my personal costs, such as flight tickets, living, eating, and transportation for the week of the brigade. Without funding, this money will need to come out-of-pocket. The amount needed for my personal brigade account is about $1,700, which will all be due before the beginning of March, where much of the money is due by the end of January. This will be my first Brigade, and I am extremely excited to be taking on this experience. I cannot explain how motivated and humbled I am to be given the opportunity to help others in undeveloped countries, and to help provide a more sustainable environment. During this Brigade, my fellow group members and I will spend my time trying to improve the community's quality of life in short-term and long-term aspects. Any amount donated will be greatly appreciated, and I am confident that the money donated will be used for making a positive change on many people!
