help Amelia & Francis after their loss of Mabel

A parent’s worst nightmare just happened to my best friend and her son tonight.

Mabel Toleu unfortunately suffered from a traumatic brain injury that caused catastrophic damage. After fighting her hardest, Mabel succumbed to her injuries resulting in brain death the evening of Sunday July 27, 2025. She was only 13 years old.

Mabel was an organ donor and her parents are honoring her wishes, so they still have some incredibly tough days ahead. The hospital and LifeSource are caring for her body until recipients are identified and arranged. She will have an honor walk before she gives her gifts to others, and all are welcome to join.

I created this page to help Amelia and her son Francis get through some of the financially tough things that they are facing. Nobody should have to say goodbye to their kids like this.
