Ameer Suliman was gunned down while driving his taxi on August 11. This GoFundMe page is raising money for his family and to send his body to Sudan for a proper burial.

Ameer was a hard working taxi driver who would often spend 12 hours a day behind the wheel. He worked hard to provide for his wife and three children here in Durham.
His elderly mother and father also depended on him as a sole provider.
Ameer had been in the States since 1998. He was a big fan of sports, especially Duke Blue Devils. He was well liked and customers frequently requested his cab #71. Always energetic and had a great sense of humor.

The Sudanese community in Durham was devastated by the news and is mourning the loss of our brother. In times like this we all pull together and help the family of the victim, as we would hope they would do the same for our family.
