AME Capstone 2021 - Calabasas High School
The Calabasas High School Academy of Media and Entertainment (AME) Class of 2021 is dedicated to bringing you the best short film ever! Our journey began three years ago when we all entered the AME film program. Since then, our class has spent each school year learning about the creative and logistical elements that go into making a film! Each year, we built upon our prior knowledge and grew closer as a class so we could get to the point where we are today.
Unfortunately, Junior year brought with it unprecedented challenges. The COVID-19 pandemic has put our class in a very unique position for our final project- the 2021 AME Capstone. Despite these challenges, our class has remained optimistic and closer than ever before.
Now, as Seniors, we are working together on our final film titled "Come Home To Us"- a science-fiction thriller that depicts the story of a young girl named Destiny, struggling to move on after the loss of her father. All this changes however when Destiny stumbles upon a chance to bring him back from the dead, but must face the consequences of what the endeavor may entail.
By supporting our project, you would be helping young filmmakers tell the story that they have wanted to tell for the past 3 years. Each member of the class has taken on a different yet vital position on our crew, but all with one goal in mind: to make the best film possible. Any donation makes a difference.
