Hello!


I'm Wahlander – that is the artist name you can find on streaming services. Apart from being a songwriter and performer, I am also a psychologist. Since 2022, I've been writing songs about people I meet on my journeys and stories in the news.

The fundraiser started with the goal of purchasing ambulances that I drive to hospitals in need. This effort is very much continuing.

I’m now adding fundraising for light, towable bridges for use in areas where it is difficult to help people and bring in supplies. I have been developing the bridges myself and am in contact with a manufacturer. Please mark your donations “ambulance” or “bridge” so I can keep track. Unmarked donations will be used for the bridge.

The ambulance fundraiser has been a joy. I am so grateful that you empower me to help! I also get assistance with vehicle purchases, formalities, and practical matters from a Lions Club circuit in Lund, Sweden – fantastic people with real engagement and heart. Each ambulance in service saves hundreds of lives.

The bridge project aims to deliver a first unit by autumn 2026. Let’s make this happen – it will have a real impact and, just as with an ambulance, a bridge saves lives too. $50,000 is needed. I am happy to say that from day one (24 February 2026), money is already coming in through my Swish service (Scandinavian). GoFundMe has proven to be a valuable option for those unable to use Swish or Scandinavian banking services, so please use it if needed.

Funds for ambulances are used for:
• Purchasing vehicles, including registration fees and insurance
• Additional items such as essential medical equipment and supplies
• Fuel for making the journey, and occasional accommodation costs (I try to stay with friends, but this is not always possible)

Funds for the bridge project are used for:
• Materials and manufacturing
• Transportation to and from the workshop in Sweden (for assessment and changes)

No assets are used in my private economy, every donated penny goes to these two projects.
