In January 2020 we (Alan Wallish from Australia, Max Johnson from Canada and Gareth Crichton from  the Orkney Islands) are going to buy an ambulance in Europe to drive south to donate to a charity in Sierra Leone.

Part of it, of course, is the journey; this rally has been delivering assistance and equipment to Africa for years, and we have decided to try and help in 2020.

We will purchase the ambulance in France , and depending on the level of support that we get, we will fill it with useful supplies. Then, after the three-week journey across the western Sahara, we will arrive in Freetown and deliver the ambulance and supplies to a hospital in the country.

Any help we get will simply allow us to take more supplies with us, and deliver this needed ambulance!
