Ambulance for Charkiw

Hi, my name is Hans-Martin, me and my Klimataler Team have started several convois now to get people from Ukraine to Germany and make sure they get a new home and family to stay. This is working well and we managed to organize the funds for the project locally.

Because of the convois I have extended my network a bit and got in contact with a lot of people. In this context I have received an emergency call from a leading Administrator of the rescue services in the Charkiw region (this is the upper right corner of the country). It looks like the Russian army is preparing another offensive there and hospitals do not have enough abmulances. I have been told that the Russians have taken some 29 vehicles and destroyed 27 more so that there is a severe shortage of ambulances presently.

We have checked and found some vehicles that would be fit for the purpose. We can get the vehicles on the way rather quickly but we must buy them. We have started a cooperation with our local church and got a donation account there for the convois which worked very well but it is now almost empty.

This is why we want to try this way of fundraising and start with one vehicle which can be on the road within a day or two if the funds are available.

If this works for the first ambulance, we will try to go for the next one quickly.
