In October of this year, I got into an accident where a car was speeding on a college campus and their mirror hit me while I was on an e-vehicle. I was completely on the side of the road. This was not a main road or even a big one, but quite literally a road many people walk on to get to class. All I remember from this event was that it was a blue SUV. It was pretty early in the morning and people were not around; there were also no cameras on that street, but that car hit me and kept going. I ended up with a pretty bad concussion and some minor injuries and was transferred to the hospital in an ambulance.
I ended up being billed $600 due to my insurance not covering the entire bill, which I paid. A couple of months later, I have been billed $2000 additional dollars. I have sent a plethora of emails back and forth with Falck (the ambulance company) and they will not budge on the fee. This has taken up a lot of my time, not to mention being out from the concussion for at least a month, and this is another stress being added.
Please help me if you can, any amount helps.
