The St. Benedict Joseph Medical Center, in Comayagua, Honduras, is a basic healthcare clinic and surgical center run by the Franciscan Friars of the Renewal. Its purpose is to meet the unmet medical needs of the poor.
The hospital operates daily as a free healthcare clinic serving over 2000 patients each month, and hosts surgical teams from the US about 8 times per year.
We are in desperate need of an ambulance, which is being mandated by the Honduran government. The ambulance will be used to transport patients to other hospitals in both emergency and non-emergent situations. Please help us continue and expand our mission in Christ’s name for the poor of Honduras. Thank you!
