Ambriz Family Support
Donation protected

Our mom who lovingly supports us from Heaven, taught us sisters that when we need help, be sure to ASK for it--as long as we always remember to only seek a hand-UP not a hand-OUT. Always be grateful and pay it forward when life allows.
To honor this core value which Mom instilled in us, we are asking for your help to raise money to support Bridgett and Mike Ambriz & family, in order for them to receive the necessary help and financial relief that they need during and after these terribly difficult and unlucky times.
We can't say how much this pains us write. We didn't even want to set up this page, however, one minute more that passes where we (Mike and Bridgette's family & friends) do not do anything to help, the deeper they may fall financially, spiritually, and emotionally.
Our beautiful sister and her husband are always helping anyone and everyone they possibly can. Whether it's a family member, friend, long-time co-worker, or the customers at work who don't have enough money to pay. Bridgett and Mike always give and never ask for anything. They live their lives for their 4 children Brandon 20, Nicole 18, Michael 13, and Emma 11.
Bridgett and Mike have been a central pillar of support for my sisters and I, so many friends, and extended family. We could really use your help to alleviate some of the stress and anxiety due to the financial factors that they have been challenged with. Below we share their story:
Streak of Bad Luck Back Story:
Bridgett’s Road to Rehabilitation
Early on the evening of December 4th 2018 Bridgett was involved in a car accident in which the car was completely totaled. Bridgett was hit in the face with the airbag which caused severe swelling along her spine and altered it's natural curve. Because of the nature of Bridgett's injuries, we will not know the future significance of her condition for quite some time.
As a result of the accident, they had no choice but to pay off the totaled car and use what little Christmas savings they had in December to put a down payment on a new car so they could both still commute to work.
After the car accident, their washing machine broke, and the refrigerator followed. Two weeks later, a freak dog-walking accident occurred in which Bridgett completely lost the entire end of her index finger on her right hand. This caused Bridgett a lot of missed work as as professional server (+ her tips!) as she is also currently undergoing therapy for the next two months for her neck and back from the car injuries.
Mike's Road to Recovery
Please keep Mike in your prayers as well. Mike is in the hospital, he just had gall bladder surgery and will be recovering and unable to work for quite some time. Emergency medical services transferred him directly to the Silver Cross Hospital in New Lennox, Illinois trauma center this week, where he is currently being treated.
Our Purpose
The purpose of this GoFundMe campaign is to raise enough funds to help the Ambriz family handle medical and related expenses (rehab, doctors, X-rays, lab work, anesthesiologists, etc,), pay off the car note, replace the major appliances that broke down, and provide finances for living expenses for the next 12 months. These are just a few of the many things this account has been created to help with.
Mike and Bridgett are both missing allot of work currently so we are trying to gather the money together as quickly as possible through your generous donations. The medical bills have been rolling in and we are extremely worried that they won’t make it. If we raise $10k Bridgett and Mike will be able to stay their home as well as cover their immediate bills until they get back on their feet.
ANYTHING helps! A like, a share, a nickel, dime, quarter or dollar. Anything at all well help them. If you can donate we would appreciate it more than you will ever know. If you cant, kindly donate a share. A Share on a social media page goes a very long way and is just as appreciated.
Thank You!
We thank everyone who has already reached out to us with kind words and thoughts. It makes this entire ordeal a lot less scary. If there are any excess funds left over beyond bills being met, we will surely pay it forward to others by means of charity, as we always have in life.
Thank you so much for reading our family story and thank you for any donation that you can afford in these tough times. We appreciate the love, support, prayers and encouragement as we we help Bridgett and Mike move forward in this process. Thank you and God Bless.
