Donation protected
Update-Surgey went great, I had an amazing surgeon to who I am forever grateful and owe my life. I am home where I can rest now. Thank you so EVERYONE that has donated it means so much. This road to recovery is a very long one. I will need physical rehab, countless appointments, and tons of medicine. God bless my husband and mom for doing everything they can to help me! I've got 2 months before I can even think about driving I am in so much pain but so very thankful for Dr. Lyons mending my heart back together. We sill need help so please share any and everything helps. I love you all. Thank you
Hello, thank you for taking the time to read this. For those of you who don't know me personally, I am Amber, a mother to 5 beautiful children and wife to Ruben. I have been struggling with my health for a while; I have lupus amongst other health issues, but nothing prepared my family for this. After countless tests and being in the hospital since Saturday, tomorrow, November 20th, 2024, I will be undergoing major emergency open-heart surgery. I came into the hospital with heart failure, and after numerous tests, it has been found I need a mechanical heart valve replacement and double bypass done as well. I'm a server, and my husband works 2 jobs. After a surgery like this, I will be recovering for at least 2 months, which means the burden of EVERYTHING falls solely on my husband. This is the most terrifying thing my family has gone through. We are asking for any and all support anyone can offer, be it help with babysitting, meals, car rides, grocery shopping, etc. Any and all funds raised will go to either rent, bills, or food. Losing an entire income at the drop of a hat can be detrimental, I'm sure as all of you know. We are praying for a successful surgery and perfect recovery. Updates will be posted frequently. Thank you so much for your time.
