Amber's Medical Bills & Cancer Support
Donation protected
On January 22, 2023, Amber was having what she thought was an unusual menstrual cycle with heavy bleeding, but after finding her in a state of extreme fatigue and loss of alertness she was quickly taken to the emergency room by Chris. She was almost immediately given a blood transfusion due to a scary amount of blood loss. To put it frankly, Amber is lucky to be alive, to have had Chris take action as quickly as he did, and to have a great medical team take swift action to bring her to a stable condition.
Since, Amber has been poked, prodded, and tested by the best of the best in search of answers. And admittedly, typing this out gives me great pain, Amber has been diagnosed with advanced cervical cancer. Let's all take a deep breath because that is a lot. Amazing how one tiny word can cause such distress.
Now that we all know Amber and her family are up against a long journey of battling cancer, we'd like to keep her focused on her healing and reduce as much stress related to expenses as we can. Our first goal is to cover legal costs to get Amber's estate in order (~2k). And because Amber is still in the hospital today (February 1, 2023), we know medical bills are coming.
Any donation helps! The Hopper team is grateful for all of the support we have seen thus far and we ask that you continue to share your prayers and pour your love over this family.
