Hey there!
I really never thought I would be doing one of these for myself, but we all know life is full of curveballs.
For those who don’t know me, HI!!! My name is Amber.
2 months ago, by a freak accident injury to my jaw, I went into the E.R. to assure nothing was broken. Upon receiving the good news that nothing was, I also received some news I never expected. They had found a brain tumor.
I will be going in for brain surgery Monday, December 8th. I kept my whirlwind of appointments throughout these 2 months somewhat private, but after receiving the news that I cannot return to work for at least 2 months, I decided to put my pride aside and accept any help there is to offer.
I don’t expect anything from anyone as I know that times are tough (especially around this time).
If everyone could keep me in their most positive thoughts, prayers, or even just a share, it is all greatly appreciated. Another blessing to share is my team of specialists said that it is almost always benign! What a blessing!
Anything made will be put towards my personal bills (as I do live on my own), living expenses, and medical aid.
I appreciate anyone who even took the time to read the beginning of my road to recovery.
Happy Holidays!!! —Amber
