Friends, Family, and Kind Strangers -

If you've ever met Amber, then there's a good chance that you've laughed until you've cried. If you know Amber like I do, then you have witnessed and/or experienced her goodness, generosity and grace up close and personal. She showers those fortunate enough to be called friends with unconditional love and support. She's the person you can call in the middle of the night for help, and she shows up, no questions asked. Amber is salt of the earth, and right now, she desperately needs our help.

Last week Amber was unexpectedly diagnosed with Invasive Breast Cancer that has already migrated into her lymph nodes. This news has obviously thrown Amber and her family into immediate chaos and triage mode.  Amber is an amazing  bonus mom to a sweet little girl,  and the upcoming medical interventions and unavoidable physical limitations will leave many holes in the household needing to be filled. My hope is that we can all come together as her "village" and raise funds to offset the enormous amount of medical expenses that are not covered by insurance, and to provide this family even a tiny bit of relief while they tackle this battle head on.
