Amber's car was flooded while she saved critters

Hi - our names are Alex and Teri Rockas and we, along with others, are supporting our friend Amber Fua, whose car was flooded during the atmospheric river storm that hit San Rafael on October 24.
Amber is one of the amazing medical technicians at WildCare in San Rafael; spending long days (and many nights) taking care of injured and orphaned wildlife. Songbirds, mammals, raptors, rodents, corvids, reptiles: Amber cares for them all with remarkable skill and results.
On Sunday 10/24 the skies over San Rafael opened up and flooded the storm drains and roads surrounding WildCare's facility. Amber spent the afternoon rushing to the aid of ambassador and patient animals - moving all 40 to safety from the rising waters. You can see from photos: even while waters rose into her well-loved/aged car, Amber kept focused on caring for the animals - never loosing her bright smile and "ALL IS GOOD" attitude, One photo shows Amber with Marsi [short for marsupial], WildCare's ambassador/educational opossum, being taken to high ground out of the storm’s wake.
Well - damage to Amber's car is beyond repair - but her spirit isn't.
Alex and I, along with Amber's co-workers and the WildCare volunteers with whom she works, want to help her get back into the driver's seat in a vehicle that can get her to school & work, and transporting the many animals (and large cages) who rely on her for around the clock care.
These funds will be used to find her a used vehicle and fund a year's worth of auto insurance. For all Amber does for others - let's do this for her!
Thank you for your thoughtfulness, and support of a great lady who would never ask for help.
