Amber's journey for a heart transplant & recovery

Amber Butler is a kind-hearted person who has always put others first. She has been a devoted aunt to her nieces and nephews and has always been there for them. Unfortunately, in February 2017, she was diagnosed with heart failure and her life changed forever.

On March 4th, Amber was life-flighted to Louisville Hospital and underwent an emergency surgery to place an external heart pump to keep her alive. After several weeks, on March 27th, Amber finally received the heart transplant that she desperately needed.

While Amber is incredibly grateful for the gift of life she's been given, the road to recovery has been difficult, and the medical bills have been overwhelming. She's now in need of funds to help cover the cost of life-saving medications and medical bills associated with the transplant surgery.
