7/27/21 update: as you can see the goal was raised because so far nothing has worked to bring her mother here legally. At this point we are desperate to bring her by any means. Amber will start radiation tomorrow and will be needing her mom more than ever. 

Actualización 27/7/21: como pueden ver, la cantidad del objetivo aumento porque hasta ahora nada ha funcionado para traer a su madre aquí legalmente. En este punto estamos desesperados por traerla por cualquier medio. Amber comenzará la radiación mañana y necesitará a su madre más que nunca.

 Hello my name is Cristina Santillan and as many already know, I am assisting my cousin Fernando Lomelí with this terrible situation that has impacted terribly the Guido-Godinez family. This go fund me was created for two main reasons 1) bring Amber’s mom to her bedside and 2) accommodate them both while Amber battles the most aggressive type of brain stem tumor. Unfortunately, the tumor is growing very rapidly and is compromising Amber’s airways. She is currently in the PICU at CHOC. While Amber doesn’t have any immediate family here my cousin, two great aunts of Amber and I are alternating in caring for Amber at all times while also trying to bring mom over. I as a mother of two can’t imagine what the mother is going through. The sacrifice she has already made of separating from her duaghter just for a better chance at life. It breaks my heart that Amber uses every bit of energy she has to implore to have her mother by her side. God bless those hearts who will be touched by Amber and thanks in advance.

Hola me llamo Cristina Santillán y como muchos ya saben, estoy asistiendo a mi primo Fernando Lomelí con esta terrible situación que ha impactado terriblemente a la familia Guido-Godinez. Este go fund me fue creado por dos razones principales: 1) traer a la mamá de Amber a su lado y 2) acomodarlos a ambos mientras Amber lucha contra el tipo más agresivo de tumor del tronco cerebral. Desafortunadamente, el tumor está creciendo muy rápidamente y está comprometiendo las vías respiratorias de Amber. Actualmente se encuentra en la unidad de cuidados intensivos del CHOC. Si bien Amber no tiene ningún familiar directo aquí, mi primo, dos tías abuelas de Amber y yo estamos alternando en el cuidado de Amber en todo momento mientras intentamos traer a mamá. Yo, como madre de dos niñas, no puedo imaginarme por lo que está pasando la madre. El sacrificio que ya ha hecho al separarse de su hija solo para tener una mejor oportunidad de vida. Me rompe el corazón que Amber use toda la energía que tiene para implorar tener a su madre a su lado. Dios bendiga esos corazones que serán tocados por Amber y gracias de antemano.
