I know times are tough, and there are lots of important things to throw money at right now. I want to acknowledge that what we're asking for help on is an add-on only.

My youngest kiddo, Amber has gotten really into soccer in the past few years. She made the academy competition team last year and made the academy traveling team this year. She is improving at a very fast clip, and we're mostly trying to keep up with her.

This summer she attended a summer camp put on by Real Madrid, a famous Madrid, Spain soccer team. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Real_Madrid_CF

From their summer camps, they sometimes invite a player or two to a special intensive they have in February - in Madrid, Spain. They put together one US team in each age bracket from all their camps, and do 2 weeks of intensive training on a pro field with Real Madrid coaches and a series of games with their local academy teams in Spain, along with tickets to a local pro game, and Madrid tours.

Amber got invited.

The price for their intensive is $4,170. Amber is provided with a dorm and some meals, but I would need housing, and we both need flights. Unfortunately, on a preschool teacher's salary, this is a little out of our reach. I might be able to make it work, but the first deposit of $2000 is due on September 3rd, leaving us scrambling.

This is an opportunity that I never had as a kid, and I would love to provide it for her, not just for the soccer experience but also for the travel and exposure to other cultures. Soccer has been such a great place for her socially and emotionally on top of physically, and a fantastic outlet for her ball of energy. This is such a unique opportunity, that I don't want to let it pass her by. So, on the advice of a few friends, I'm reaching out. **Please** don't throw money at this if you cannot afford it. We appreciate anything that you can do.
