On November 20, 2002 a beautiful little girl was born, Amber Skye Rhodes.  She was born with hydrocephalus and had some complications early on but overcame them.  She was amazing, with a beautiful smile and the biggest heart you ever knew.  She wanted to grow up and be a veterinarian or zoo keeper so she   could take care of all the  animals.  Along with her aspirations she wanted to live in Kentucky and have a farm of her own. Tragically Amber Skye, passed away April 26, 2012 due to a pressure wave in her brain caused by a malfunctioned shunt.  As her mom, since then, I have tried to live my life in honor of hers by doing the things she would have done if she were still alive.  We bought a piece of property big enough sustain a mini- farm that will allow me to keep her dream alive. I have the property, and a small cabin but so much more needs to be done in order to make her dream a reality.  This is why I am asking for assistance, so that I can establish, Amber Skye’s Mini Farm and resuce,  to take in needy farm and other animals, in honor of my precious angel.
