Amber Schermitzler Cancer Fund

On Friday January 19th my older sister Amber was diagnosed with Stage 3 triple negative invasive ductal breast cancer. As expected this news came as a complete shock to her and the rest of the family. 
Since the diagnosis, Amber has undergone many tests and procedures as well as met with many doctors to figure out the best course of action to fight this cancer. 
Her doctors are taking an aggressive approach due to the aggressive nature of this type of cancer. On January 29th Amber had a port placed and began her cancer fight with chemotherapy. Amber will undergo chemo treatments for the next 6 months followed by a double mastectomy and radiation. 
Amber and her husband Brian have three children, Alyssa (14), Ava (5), and Mason (2). As a family they are facing many challenges and unexpected expenses over the next year. 
Many have reached out to show support and have asked how to help Amber and her family so I have set up this page. Anything you are willing to give is greatly appreciated along with extra prayers.
